CSL Vifor is a world leader in Nephrology, Iron Deficiency and Cardio-Renal pharmaceutical company, experiencing rapid growth due to pipeline realisation, optimisation and innovative alliance partnerships on a global basis. At this time we are looking to appoint a Customer Insights and Forecasting Manager within our UK Business Excellence team. 

You will have demonstrable experience within the Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology industry in the areas of Customer Insights, Market Research and Forecasting for the UK and ideally Ireland. Expertise with building customer models from various data sources and blending this data in a way which generates actionable insights for commercial teams in the UK; experience needed of forecasting  as well as sales target setting, sales force effectiveness experience is also highly desirable. 

Reporting to the Head of Business Excellence you will interface both with the UK Senior Leadership Team and our global Commercial Excellence colleagues. 

Key Measures of Success 
  • Assisting with the development and execution of commercial strategy and monitoring the effectiveness through data analysis and insights.
  • Provision of timely, high quality, robust quantitative and qualitative data and ad hoc reports to meet the needs of the UK & Ireland commercial team. 
  • Provision of robust forecasting modelling and scenario planning to inform business planning and product supply.
  • Provision of sales target methodology and reporting for commercial.
  • Fully utilize customer data sources to maximize intelligence about our customers.


Business Insights

Provide commercial directorate / business with performance reporting and dashboards, that enable clear sight of trends, predictions, and actual performance. At national and local levels.
Responsibility for leading the regular detection of market trends and patterns for all therapy areas, pro-actively providing insight which clearly informs strategy. 

  • Fully utilise data/reports in order that they can provide information/insights about our customers.
  • Seen as the “go to” person for market research within the organisation.
  • Seen as the “go to” person for forecasting and sales targeting within the organisation.

Minimum Requirements

  • Scientific or Economics Degree
  • Demonstrable experience in pharmaceutical industry in commercial excellence/ Business Intelligence roles.
  • Proven experience of being pro-active in approach in the provision of information to inform decision making.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing UK market research plans 
  • Proven experience of the development of production and supply forecasting abilities.
  • Proven experience of the development of production of sales target methodologies.
  • Professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications
  • Excellent user of Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint and MS Teams)
  • Highly level of proficiency at using Excel.
  • Highly level of proficiency at using PowerBI/Tableau software

Preferred Requirements
  • Experience in CSL Vifor therapeutic areas 
  • CRM and CRM Analytics experience
