About You

We are growing our organization and are therefore looking for a Regional Affairs Manager for the area of Milano, Lombardia Est, Emilia Romagna, Triveneto. In this role you will report to the National Market Access Manager and you will be working closely with our Key Account Team.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Continuously monitor and report changes in the local market access environment and adapt activities accordingly
  • Interact with the regions in order to develop value-added projects for the selected products or therapeutic areas possibly in connection with Scientific Societies, Patients Associations, Payers and Clinicians. Develop and use Health Ecomonic models in order to support regions in setting up policies, like for instance, tariffs and Day Hospital Services, to the benefit of patients and the region budgets
  • Support the KAMs in setting up PDTAs and best practice models which can be adopted at regional level
  • Develop regional or local projects, in cooperation with the KAMs, to bridge the Hospitals with the Territory; with the purpose of facilitating the access of hospital therapies to patients not hospitalized
  • Conduct market research and expert panels to obtain modeling data – in close collaboration with the other departments
  • Manage a close personal contact with all major stake holders (Payers, Local Authority, Regional Authority) to optimize  the implementation of the Company Regional strategy and programs
  • Support the KAMs on market access issues

We are looking for the following profile:

  • Economic and/or scientific academic education
  • Preferably at least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Preferably  at least 2 years of experience in the field of regional affairs for branded products
  • Previous experience as a hospital sales representative and/or KAM.
  • Fluency in English, both in oral and written communications
  • Good user of MS-Office Programs - strong in Excel

We are looking for a strong team player with good communication and networking skills. A solid result record and the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders are important competencies for this role.
