Votre profil

As a Medical Manager, you will be a member of the Global Iron Deficiency Team, responsible for supporting the maximisation of the global brand value proposition in Patient Blood Management (PBM) and Women’s Health. You will develop scientific content for international symposia, workshops, publications and promotional materials of the Therapeutic Area, in collaboration with the Medical Affairs Centre of Excellence. You will report to the Life Cycle Management Women’s Health and PBM Medical Lead. Your tasks and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Support country leadership team in achieving the company’s and department’s strategic and operational objectives
  • Represent Medical Affairs/Therapeutic Area interfacing with all other functions: Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Sales, and with other local and central functions (Clinical development, Drug Safety, Regulatory affairs…)
  • Represent (or delegate) the Medical Affairs function at Clinical, Medical, Safety, regulatory Team meetings (CMSRT) and coordinate activities with the Therapeutic Area Medical Lead
  • Represent the Medical Affairs function in cross-functional teams related to the brand
  • Support the Therapeutic Area Medical Lead in partnering with the Global Brand Director to lead the development and execution of the Global Brand Plan
  • Support the Therapeutic Area Medical Lead in partnering with the other Global Core Team members in the development and execution of the Global Brand Plan
  • Support the development of Medical Affairs Plan of the Therapeutic Area team, Global Core Team and Global Medical Affairs team
  • Support Medical Brand strategies and activities through the Global Core Team
  • In conjunction with Therapeutic Area Medical Lead, provide medical and scientific expertise for the Development and Commercial organisations
  • Support Medical Affairs data generation activities aligned with Global Brand strategy
  • Support the development and implementation of global KOL plans by the team, in cooperation with regional and local medical teams
  • Support the development of sustainable interaction with KOLs and critical external audience
  • Contribute to the management of Medical Affairs performance metrics for the brands / Therapeutic Area and report regularly on achievements throughout the year
  • Participate in ensuring development and maintenance of expertise within the Medical Affairs Team
  • Contribute to regular meetings with team members to review activities
  • Coordinate with Medical Information, Compliance, Medical Trials, MSL excellence, Publications, Medical Education, sharing input in to development of Global Key Information Documents, review and approval of GKIDs according to company procedures and all activities of the Global Medical Affairs Centre of Excellence

The successful candidate will preferably have a medical education (MD), PharmD or a PhD in a life science subject combined with relevant working experience, in additional to the following profile:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferable including experience at leading pharmaceutical company with HQ experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical medicine or scientific research
  • Experience in affiliate Medical Department, Clinical Development or Clinical Research Organisation (CRO)
  • Experience with clinical study management and conduct
  • Leadership experience from previous positions
  • Proven relationship building skills with key opinion leaders
  • Professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial and business practices
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs and Drug Safety
  • Medical experience in assigned therapeutic areas – e.g. Women’s Health, Patient Blood Management or Iron Deficiency – is strongly preferred
