We are currently looking for a Head of Market Access Nephrology to join our organization in Switzerland. You will report directly into the Head of Global Pricing and Market Access & manage a team brand access leads.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Drives design, development, and implementation of Patient Access strategies across the Nephrology therapy area, monitoring and evaluating effectiveness and impact
  • Leads a brand access strategy while overseeing a team of brand access specialists within the Nephrology therapy area
  • Provides coaching and consultation on Patient Access issues and develops field training support as required
  • Collaborates with global franchise teams to develop creative Patient
  • Access and reimbursement strategies including innovative pricing/franchise approaches that achieve franchise objectives for new and existing products
  • Directs payer and patient research activities to understand stakeholder requirements, key healthcare policies for chosen products/therapies, and health technology/assessment hurdles in regional markets
  • Identifies, analyzes and prioritizes stakeholders for new and existing products and works with local Patient Access leads
  • Synthesizes and interprets input from cross-functional teams as appropriate to identify and analyze trends and/or changes in the healthcare system that will influence Patient Access strategies
  • Assesses the ability of a product to deliver on payer expectations and engages teams to meet identified unmet needs
We would like to welcome the following experience and skills for the role:
  • Bachelor’s degree required in a science discipline, Master’s and/or PhD in Healthcare discipline or Business preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a healthcare area such as patient access, marketing, government affairs/public policy, patient advocacy, pricing, reimbursement, medical affairs
  • Experience managing global programs, hand-on leadership of demographically diverse teams
  • Professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications, any additional language skills are an asset
You describe yourself as self-motivated and proactive in taking initiative. You are able to work efficiently on your own as well as in cross-functional teams. You have a proven record in defining market access strategies and in negotiation with different functions.
